From strength to strength: Uma's Journey

Uma's journey is a powerful testament to courage and determination. After losing her mother at a young age and working since she was seven, Uma faced immense challenges, including the loss of her father in a car accident in 2019. In 2012, she entered a Child Care Institution (CCI), where she found a supportive environment. Joining Udayan Care's Aftercare Outreach Program (AOP), Uma initially struggled but soon focused on her goals, working tirelessly to improve her future. With a dream to enter the aviation industry, she completed a 45-day training with Air India SATS and now works as a Customer Service Junior Executive at IGI Airport. Alongside her job, Uma is pursuing a Bachelor's in Political Science through distance education. Her story shows that overcoming obstacles and achieving dreams is possible with hard work, determination, and support.
