Options for general donation
Based on the belief that a loving home and family is the right of every child, Udayan Ghars are long term, group residential homes that nurture children without parental care in a family-like environment, through a strategy called L.I.F.E – Living In Family Environment. Currently there are 17 homes and your support towards the children will help them blossom into confident independent adults.
Udayan Shalini Fellowship (USF), is an unique education-cum-mentoring programme for underprivileged girls from class XI till they complete their graduation to become a dignified, independent and socially responsible woman. They are provided with financial assistance, personalised mentorship and workshops for developing their self-esteem, skills, career choices and employability. Currently there are 26 Chapters and your support will help a capable girl be on the path of being educated and be financially independent.
Based on Udayan Care’s mission to enable every adult the dignity of self-reliance, Udayan Care’s Information Technology and Skill Centres enable under-served youth and adults to improve their livelihood options by offering certificate and diploma courses in basic as well as advanced computer applications in their 15 centres across 3 states.
Our Skill Development Centre motivates women from disadvantaged communities to acquire necessary skills like stitching, enamel workshops or ceramic painting that would help them to get employment and earn a decent pay which would improve their livelihood.
Our Advocacy, Research and Training explore different aspects of policy and practice around alternative care for children and youth through research, publications, consultations, trainings, seminars and workshops. From recommendations for policy and legislative reform to training practitioners on standards of care, we also develop material on various aspects of Alternative Care. Apart from that, started in 2020,Aftercare Outreach Programme (AOP) aims to contribute to the well being of the Care Leavers by nurturing them and providing them with hope, confidence and access to varied opportunities for their holistic development. Your support will help Care Leavers work towards creating a successful career.
You can support our Give India campaign for ensuring students, from lower socio economic backgrounds, get access to IT and vocational training.
Not Just Money, you can donate anything from spices to grains, computer, furniture, toiletries or any other items that can be used to help us in nurturing our beneficiaries and providing them with care and protection, in a familial environment.
We are CSR compliant organisation to receive CSR funds and CSR as per their Mandate can support/partner Udayan Care through long term restricted Grants, employee engagement programme, volunteer engagement program and others. The employees can visit and help in structured personalised mentoring, creating, and delivering workshops, career counselling, etc. Please reach out to fundraising@udayancare.org.
