On April 4th, 2024, Udayan Care proudly unveiled its 23rd Skill Development Training Centre in Manesar, Gurugram (Haryana). This centre marks a groundbreaking collaboration with Ciena India, offering specialized training in the burgeoning telecom sector. This initiative caters to young adults aged 18-25 who aspire to launch their careers in this exciting field, potentially even starting their telecom-related businesses. The centre aims to train 140 youths annually in specific areas like Mobile Repairing, Broadband Technician skills, and Customer Care for both Repair and Relationship centres. Importantly, these courses are accredited by the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), ensuring their relevance and value in the industry.	The comprehensive 3-4 month program goes beyond technical expertise. Participants will also engage in regular sessions designed to hone essential soft skills and personality development, empowering them to excel in the dynamic telecom sector. A well-planned ceremony marked the centre's launch. Following a project briefing by Mr. Manoj Shrivastava (Assistant Director, IT Programme), the esteemed guests – Shri Vineet Sharma (Head Legal CSR), Shri Paritosh Singh (Director, Corp. Real Estate), Shri Kailash Chandra (Sr. Manager, Finance) – from Ciena, along with Dr. Kiran Modi (Founder and Managing Trustee), Shri Deepak Sharma (Trustee), and Ms. Anjali Hegde (Executive Director) from Udayan Care, jointly inaugurated the centre with a ribbon-cutting and lamp-lighting ceremony.
