History

With the mission to bring sunlight into the lives of care leavers (children coming out of CCIs) Udayan Care in Delhi came up with Aftercare Outreach Programme (AOP) in the year 2020. Initially the programme started with 42 care leavers in Cohort 1(2020-21) and now the Delhi chapter of AOP has successfully inducted a batch of 30 youths under Cohort 2(2021-22).

Benevolent donors like AFEC, SVP, Anita Jaipuria, Nargis Wa Fatima Trust, Rajeev Chaba, and Global Giving made it possible for care leavers to overcome the transition phase of coming out care homes and lead a normal life.
