In our Mumbai IT Centre, we have launched two job-specific trades there, like the Diploma in Information Technology (DIT), which is specifically designed to cover advanced MS Office tools including advanced Excel and improve typing speed, which helps them grab an entry-level job opportunity in the fields of data operations, backend, MIS, etc. Another trade is Accounts Exe (Tally Prime), which is designed for commerce students who can attend training in accounting software that helps them build their career in the field of accounts or finance. We also offered short-term training in the basics of fundamental computers through the Community Technology Skills Programme, which is a well-designed course by Microsoft. This course helps teenagers and women become familiar with digital technology and equips them to access different online portals. Apart from the regular IT-specific training sessions, we believe that to ensure holistic development of students through the soft skills and English communication training sessions on a regular basis, we are also making efforts to connect with industry experts and volunteers to hold specific sessions on interview skills, communication skills, email etiquette, financial literacy, POSH, etc.
