Demonstrable models of Alternative Care are being implemented in Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Gujarat, and Telangana, focusing on various aspects of care for children and youth in close partnership with state governments and with support from UNICEF. Since 2020, we have supported policy development on the subject for governments, developed IEC and training materials, and worked closely with adolescent children in institutions, as well as care leavers, to demonstrate the quality standards of care.
