Rita Udayan

After her mother and sole care-giver, passed on, Rita, just 8, and her sister, Chanchal, were initially sent to a shelter home, before coming to Udayan Ghar, Mehrauli in 2001. Being traumatised by the loss of their mother, the sisters found comfort and safety in the care and love of the five mentor mothers at Udayan Ghar, Mehrauli. Rita was enrolled in school and after completing Class XII she is pursuing B.Sc. in Hospitality Management from Rai Foundation, Rajasthan.

Priya Verma

I am the fellow of Udayan Care,
This kind of foundation is very rare,
This is the only place where I can share,
That’s why I am feeling proud to be there.

To make girls successful,
That’s the Udayan self possession.
To make our life colorful,
You just give us assurance.
Today I am feeling great,
Can’t tell you, how it feels;
How much elated & fortunate,
Are we, to be your fellow it heals.

Your workshop always motivate me,
To achieve my goal.
Your advice filled confidence in me,
And stir my soul.

You are our mentors,
For us, your smile,
And satisfaction is our aim,
We are working hard & hard,
To enlighten the Udayan Name.
