Independence Day Celebrations
Inculcating the spirit of patriotism and developing a sense of love towards the nation and its people, the Independence Day was celebrated across different Udayan Ghars. The day was a nice amalgamation of fun-filled activities which included quiz and kite-making activities that were conducted at all the Udayan Ghars. The quiz based on general awareness about facts of India’s independence was found to be interesting and a mind flexing exercise. The kite making activity, gave the children, the full freedom to apply their creativity and artistic skills to make decorative kites. The kites were then flown high in the sky, giving the children, a sense of pride for their country. Children also engaged in role plays wherein, by emulating our freedom fighters, the core values were revived.
