Celebrations bring people together, spread happiness, share joy, and collect memorable moments. Keeping this spirit ignited, this year too, like every year, the Hyderabad Chapter of Udayan Shalini Fellowship, celebrated its ‘Carnival Day’ at the lawns of Jubilee Ladies Club, Hyderabad.
The celebration kicked off with lots of games, programmes and a special DJ arrangement. To make the best of the day, many mentors from the chapter played an active role by organizing fun activities. Two Mentors, Ms. Seema and Ms. Manjiri had set up game stalls; while to capture these joyous moments, mentor Ms. Aarti Sevilimedu set up a Photo Booth.

We believe in the joy of learning through participation and that is why we conduct co-curricular activities across all our programmes. This is to help our young ones to create a special bond, not only among themselves, but also with their peers from other batches, chapters, and homes.
At our 14 IT centres, the students celebrated Diwali by making beautifully designed Rangoli and by distributing sweets. Moreover, they celebrated Christmas by decorating Christmas trees with handmade decors.
Children from Ghaziabad Udayan Ghar, one of our 14 Udayan Ghars were invited to celebrate Diwali at Greenlam Laminates. Some Corporates such as ICG Medical, Stic Travels and Josh Technology acted as Santa in disguise by spending time with the children and spreading the Christmas cheer to every child. Additionally, we are really thankful to VIVO Pro Kabaddi Season IV, for selecting 19 children from our Sant Nagar, Greater Noida, Mehrauli and Noida home to provide them with a once in a lifetime opportunity of meeting their favorite Kabaddi players in person and experience the privilege of seeing them play live. Dabang Delhi Team also visited our Greater Noida home and conducted a banner making competition with the kids.
Lastly, at our Baddi Chapter of Luminous Udayan Shalini Fellowship Programme, the fellows distributed gifts among the group members to celebrate the Christmas warmth.

“Relationship is like a seed, with time and love, it blooms.”
As we set to celebrate our silver jubilee, we cannot proceed without acknowledging the love we have received over the years from our donors, volunteers, and supporters. A Grand Thanksgiving Event was organized by Mr. Deepak Sharma, Hon. Director Jagshanti Home, wherein many donors, volunteers, and well-wishers came under one roof.
The theme of the Event was "Saath", which referred to our togetherness and oneness. The theme echoed throughout the event as the activities rekindled all the moments that make us what we are today and reflect the efforts put in by different individuals. The activities began after a presentation on our moments, followed by a row of speeches bestowing gratitude, play by our students, and more. The event was then concluded with a delicious lunch. |
