Graduation Ceremony

For many, graduating is a huge milestone that leads to an opportunity to an independent life. It takes a lot of time and effort to achieve this goal.
139 students, inclusive of students from batch 2 (40 students) and batch 3 (99 students) completed their training in Information Technology as well as soft skills from Kaushal Kalp - Udayan Care Vocational Training Center.
On September 29, 2018, a "Graduation Ceremony" was conducted to celebrate the successful completion of their courses.

Induction Ceremony
September and October are the most eventful days for Udayan Shalini Fellowship as celebrating the wrapping up of our selection process by organizing a grand ceremony at each chapter, welcoming our new batch of 1065 fellow Shalinis.
In these two months, our newly established chapters Vadodara, Bengaluru, and Thane organized their very 1st Induction Ceremony, followed by our earlier established centers, namely, Gurugram, Delhi, Dehradun, Greater Noida, Mumbai, and Chennai.
We inducted 50 young girls in our 1st batch of Vadodara chapter and similarly 65 girls in Bengaluru chapter and 40 in our Thane chapter. In the coming two months, we will induct about 460 young girls in 07 more chapters.

Einstein Hunt Programme
On October 12, 2018, children of Gurugram and Mehrauli Homes participated in the Einstein Hunt program, a part of Talent Hunt program organized by Cognizant in Noida. This program was a pan India platform for young scientific minds to innovate and bring their inventions to life. Young and Talented children of Udayan Care demonstrated three scientific projects during the event.
Volunteers from Cognizant worked with children at Mehrauli and Gurugram Ghars and prepared the children for the Einstein Talent Hunt Program. Children of Gurugram and Mehrauli Homes prepared four Science projects/ working models on Electricity Management, Water Management, Volcanic Eruption, and Solar and Lunar Eclipse.
Out of the four projects of Udayan Care, two were shortlisted for their National Level Competition. These were Water Management Model and the Solar and Lunar Eclipse Model. All the children got the participation certificate, while selected candidates received a Winning certificate. Our children anxiously await results for the same.
