Life can take you higher than drugs
With half of India's population under the age of 25 and two-thirds, less than 35; our country is at higher risk of drugs and alcohol abuse that can ruin lives and communities. To emphasize on the need for abolition of drugs and Illicit trafficking, the staff and centre youth of our two IT centers at Govindpuri and Badarpur, decided to conduct a social campaign on “International Day Against Drug Abuse & Illicit Trafficking”.
To make this campaign effective, 50 students walked together in the vicinity of Govindpuri (Slum community) where they prepared handmade pamphlets and held a big banner for spreading awareness in the community against drug abuse & illicit trafficking.
Alumni Expert Session – Pooja Sharma
Alongside the aim to regenerate the rhythm of life of the disadvantaged, Udayan Care inculcates the wish to give back in every beneficiary.
We felt proud when one of our alumnae of the IT Centre wished to give back by conducting a training session. Pooja Sharma, who was the first enrolment at ‘United Decorative – Udayan Care Computer Learning Centre’, and graduated in Advance Diploma in Computer Application (ADCA) took a 2-hour structured session for our students who are currently pursuing Tally ERP 9 course in which she covered topics like sale and purchase, GST (IGST & SGST).
As per the feedback of students, they learnt a lot of new things and quick tips from Pooja; they also got motivated to enroll themselves as alumni and help Udayan Care in its various activities in the future.
