Helping little hands: Neha
Neha, born in a village in Himachal Pradesh, lives in Budh Vihar, Rohini, North Delhi with her family. Her father works as a driver and is the sole earning member. Belonging to a conservative family, she often felt helpless when it came to contribute to the finances, despite being a B. Com graduate.. Children learnt art and craft, theatre, paper mesh, dance, music etc. The children performed various skits and dance numbers on the stage.
The Make-up of life: Manisha
Manisha was connected with our Sant Nagar Ghar when she was only 10 years old and all alone in the world. Over the years, the L.I.F.E (Life in Family Environment) given at Udayan Care helped Manisha overcome her past and she started to explore her creative side.
Her mentor mothers fostered her creativity and Manisha started thriving as an artist. She began taking part in various competitions at school like canvas painting, rangoli making, photography and many others. Manisha’s talent included hair- styling, make up etc which coupled with support from her mentors that gave birth to the exceptionally talented-Manisha, we all know today.
