Our children from Udayan Ghars, Chameli, Marjeena (Sant Nagar Ghar), Ravi, Hitender and Tousheer (Mayur Vihar Ghar), Pooja, Farzana (Mehrauli Ghar), Arun, Badal (Gurgaon Ghar), Rahul (Noida Ghar) and Nisha, Rakhi (Ghaziabad Ghar) gave a tough fight to their competitors in an Inter-school Track event; and made their way clear for the first position!

This event was organized by Joya Kapoor, a young girl of 17, who set the example for the society by setting up an NGO with the objective of providing underprivileged youth with sporting experiences that they never had before. She works with slum children and teenagers through the organisation and provides those opportunities for sports and other creative ways to express themselves.
On 9th April, 2017, Jyoti Yatra organized an inter-school sports event called ‘Khel yatra’ where 15 teams from different schools and NGOs, consisting of 12 participants each, competed witheach other in 100m dash race. It was a proud moment for team Udayan Care when their children not only won the first position but also got a gift-set of 14 domestic round trip air tickets (12 athletes & 2 coaches) to anywhere in the country.
