TINA
Tina is the daughter of a small scale supplier of glass containers. Despite all the adverse situations at home she never gave up. She believes in making her dreams come true. She became an Udayan Shalini fellow in the year 2008. With the mentoring and financial support provided Tina has been able to fulfill her dreams, and has passed out with a whopping 83.75% in class X and 73.71% in class XII. She completed her engineering from one of the prestigious engineering college of Kolkata. Furthermore, she completed her M. Tech. The hard work of 5 years has paid off. Currently, she is working as an Associate Systems Engineer at IBM.

VEER
Veer, a child in our Mayur Vihar Udayan Ghar, has been a great source of inspiration for all of us. He had issues related to anger management and adamant behaviour. He was a child with borderline intelligence as well as special needs. With the proper love and care from the Udayan Ghar team he gained confidence and became calm. Today, Veer is an active sports player and has passion for Volleyball, Table-Tennis, Football, Lawn Tennis and Soft Ball. He always participates in different sports tournaments. Recently, Special Olympics Bharat, Delhi organized National Soft Ball Championship at Bhubaneswar where Veer participated and bagged the 1st position.

SHASHI
Shashi’s father works as a peon in a small company and his mother is a homemaker. Shashi joined Udayan Care with an aim to give wings to his dream of becoming an IT professional. He joined our East Vinod Nagar IT Centre and simultaneously pursued graduation from IGNOU. He fulfilled his dream by securing a job at Vivid Techno, Wajirabad, Delhi.

KALYANI
Kalyani came to know about our Udayan Shalini Fellowship programme in 2015, she was thrilled when she joined the course.
Regular workshops helped her to perform well in academics and as well as extracurricular activities. She won Gold Medal in Karate at State Championship this year.
